Clinical Work

My post-doctoral internship was served at Hackensack Hospital, Institute for Child Development, in New Jersey, where I served as a psychologist on a multi-disciplinary team, evaluating children with exceptional needs. For over thirty years I have been a licensed psychologist in private practice in Montclair, New Jersey, Carmel, California and, currently, Palo Alto. As a member of the Medical Staff, Department of Psychiatry, at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula for over ten years, I served as a supervisor of psychotherapy for mental health providers.

Working with leaders in corporate spheres, I have provided organizational developmental (OD) services to clients and their executive teams.

As a media psychologist for (KCCN) CBS affiliate, Monterey, CA, I produced a bi-monthly spot on regularly-broadcast "Your Health" segments and appeared live with question and answer interactions on current mental health issues (1993-1995).

I have recently offered seminars to physician groups focused on "Psychological Issues Facing Physicians and their Families," with grand rounds presentations at numerous hospitals. I have facilitated ongoing physician discussion groups related to these topics.
