provided to facilitate your search and to provide you with some idea of the nature of my services and the philosophy and theoretical orientation guiding my work.
With over thirty years of experience in academia and private clinical practice, I am a licensed psychologist who provides individual psychotherapy, couples counseling, family therapy and group psychotherapy to
clients at my Palo Alto office, in the San Francisco South Bay. I specialize in insight-oriented psychotherapy with men and women and also with their families.
My psychotherapy work is guided by my career as an academic and I offer a rigorous professional approach grounded in an in-depth understanding of psychological theory. For over thirty years my clinical work has
focused on complex, intelligent men and women, including leaders in corporate, educational, artistic, entertainment, medical and religious fields, as well as work with their partners and families.
I received a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University (1966); an M.A. in School Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University (1969), and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University, Institute for
